Let me introduce myself: I am Maria Adorno(Maria, for everybody, here in Korea) and I have been teaching Italian, language and culture, at Sogang University, since 2008, I also teach at Hongik University, and¡¦. I cannot speak Korean. That¡¯s, really, a big problem. Another big problem is that a lot of services dedicated to foreigners, here in Korea, are overpriced. I moved to Sogang University in October, I used to live in Hannamdong, a district full of foreigners. I found gyms and yoga institutes, there: they always asked me unbelievable monthly fees, unaffordable even for me(my wage is higher than the average wage paid to foreign teachers and professors, in Korea). When I moved to Gonzaga Hall, at Sogang University, last October, I started looking for a Gym, and I chose, in the end, Hongik Yoga Institute because their monthly fees are reasonable and I had a chance to make myself understood, using English. The latter point is very important. Then, as I said, a few months ago I started attending their classes, and I can now say that I really appreciate their patience: I am old(I am a 64 yo woman, I am frankly overweight, a lot of Yoga positions which are easy for young people are impossible for me), but the instructor often comes and helps me with further explanations, in English. There is a group of yoga instructors, they usually alternate, every week, and they are very kind to me, all of them. The environment is pleasant and relaxing. What else shall I write? I think I am lucky I have found this Institute, as I badly need physical exercise. Maria Adorno
